Immaculately Evocative.

Zola, can we say say that in post-modernist terms?

Remember, Zola, that immaculate comes from a root that means 'no stain or blemish'.
Did Django blot his copybook?

I think that Django without Stefan was the same as Stefan without Django.

They hit it right until 1939 then both lost the chance to give us sooooo much more.

(I would give my left ventricle to be able to play an ounce of what they did).

/This/ sound indeed is why my mother sank all the money in our violin lessons...but, alas, it didn't work. Needless to say, now, I wish it had done....

Me too, Wookie wrt the violin lessons.

Unfortunately, I was a rocker and am bound to die as one - guitar in hand.

As a pianist I can only enjoy what they did rather than appreciate the skill. Which is rather the point of music, innit? Thanks for posting this anyway - somehow Stefan made the violin sound like a possible jazz instrument, something that Kennedy (or whatever he calls himself these days) cannot do, regardless of his immense chops.
